I don’t reside in this reality amongst men. I take pride living insanely. Give me time to explain the meaning behind this fantasy. I’d rather sleepwalk across the street where the flickers of daylight guide my feet, my world, my time, my choice to live in misery. Where the shadows fit me comfortably. The endless sky filled with darkness, oh how it blankets our excitement. Full of shame and aimless poetry, these words of sympathy forecast resentment. A ghost within; A mute man with no gift to live once again. The seeds of fear start to burst at the seams. I’ve seen this before….My very eyes shaking in disbelief. How could this possibly come back to haunt my widowed being? I’ve avoided it by any means, taking refuge in my own significance. The world i created now crumbling before me. Oh i sleep with a sickness, it bleeds through the pages. The birds singing in the distance, sweet songs of a heroes return. Burning a hole deep inside where my heart used to be. Feeling those forgotten thoughts of tranquility. Let this reality hitch hike us to where i felt this once common embrace.
